ART DIRECTION + SOCIAL + ILLUSTRATION
ADT Safe at Home Campaign & Social Activation
As the world came under lockdown and people stayed indoors, ADT took advantage and ramped up a social strategy to help keep audiences entertained, informed, and in good spirits. This plan prompted collaborations with influencers to share DIY projects, recipes, and interactive fun for everyone involved. For this campaign, I led the launch of ADT’s Official GIPHY Library, ADT’s first interactive quiz filter, and the illustration and design of what would become a popular recipe book inspired by influencers. This included illustrating fun and relevant imagery to portray all the viral and wholesome content we were seeing rise during the pandemic.

INTERACTIVE FILTER
I proposed a filter that would ask the simple, but very important question, “What Do You Want to Protect?“. The randomized answers ranged from heartfelt moments of protecting “our better half“ to more pop-culture references such as “my hot sauce“.

INFLUENCER ACTIVATION
From brainstorming, illustrating, coding, testing, submission, rejection, submission again, and final platform approval from Facebook. The process was all worth it. Not only was the project enjoyable in itself, but watching the positive responses come from the engagement was rewarding as well. After just being live for 24 hours, the filter received over 18,000 impressions and 1,000 captures.
SOCIAL AND PRINT
Our Safe at Home campaign didn’t stop there. From sharing recipes and DIY ideas on social channels, and giving people a reason to stay home and protect the ones they love — we made a book, too.
